Artists’ action

Artists as Lady Gaga, Linkin Park and Blick 182, set up fundraisings to help victims of the disaster. They hope they can help the Red Cross and other groups in selling wristbands, original T-shirts and memorabilia auctions. You can find every item on eBay.
Artists all over the world are trying to help Japan. International stars who have a huge audience already such as Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber can effectively make people involved in the charity organization.

It’s not because Japan is a developed country that it hasn’t difficulties to recover its performance.
Japanese people suffer from this disaster. The earthquake and the tsunami left 10,000 people dead and 17,500 missing. So it’s essential they know the world sympathize.

  1. What an innovative way to raise money for Japan from pre-existing material which does not require too much effort on the part of the record companies but allows people to buy the album and feel like they are doing something. It's not a new idea of course - you could say that Bob Geldof started the whole thing off with Band-Aid. Shame there's not a track from him on the album...
